The Shining /
Tonight some of us watched one of my favorite films The Shining. I love it because it has the right amount of horror and still manages to be a beautiful film. I suggest you watch it.

I am blessed to live around the corner from some of my favorite people. I pretend like I am part of their family and they are kind enough to humor me.

Gardner Village treats /
The other evening I went with some friends to the cutest boutique hotspot around. I found these two treasures at the doll shop. I couldn't resist purchasing them, the paper doll below is named Jimmy (Salime, I got this for you so next time I see you it is yours), the Alice in Wonderland paper dolls were to die for so I had to be mine.

Something to make you laugh /
I got an email this morning about a junk yard in Mexico where the owner uses a dog shaved like a lion to scare off thieves... I hope it works for him.
So cute, I might do the same to Max.
it's the small things that make me happy /
For about an hour a day the sun hits my office window just right spills this shadow across my wall, I can't help but stare at it every time.
I know I write this all the time but I love falling in love with life through the small and mostly unnoticed moments.

The Booth at the Bridal Fair /
Last Saturday I had a booth at a local Bridal Fair.
For some I thought it would be a good idea to make personalized handouts for people to remember me by. I made glass magnets with my images inside. They were the coolest but it took me a long time to do them (I still have some if you want one).
Here is the booth. It was a little kitschy but oh well, it was me so I'm proud.
I made that sweet chalkboard in the back too.

I flew to Los Angeles this morning, I am photographing a wedding in San Diego this weekend. Kinda awesome.

It's been too long. /
I have taken a break from the Internet for a while, I guess I burnt myself out. But I am back!
I have been in Utah for the past week and it's been a really good week. I have left my camera in its bag this entire week but now I think it's time to wake it up.
I am happy right now.
Reasons for this happiness:
-It is Autumn, the ground is still wet from this mornings rain.
-my phone keeps sending me texts from someone I like hearing from
-I have resurrected my favorite candle (not sure the scent but I got it from Urban) Yum!
-I have been sleeping in my own bed
-I have had Camera Obscura playing constantly in the background of my life
Yep... That's it.
