If i could i would do this all day long.
I think about death sometimes and it scares me to know that one day I might be without a tool to help me interpret my world.

My mom was in town the other week (I have the most lovely mom).  One afternoon we rode the New York City tour bus (it was a lovely bus) and heard about all the interesting people that are buried under the city (at least that is all I remember learning).

Mom, if you ever read this blog I miss you terribly and you are my best friend forever.  Thank you for all of our adventure.  I have enjoyed them all, especially the ones where we end up lost in tiny spooky
towns we didn't know existed and driving through miles and miles of desert just to watch the earth change around us.
I owe you for the way I see things which has been my favorite part of life.

Last Friday I went with my SVA residency program on a gallery stroll to visit the Chelsea galleries.  After a while I found myself taking photos of the people and their relationship to the pieces.
It made for a great photo treasure hunt... not that the art itself wasn't enough.
this was my favorite find...

house sitting has its perks
until you leave the dogs alone for a bit and they decorate the apartment all by themselves... (hehe)
