I just wanted to finish getting these images out from our escape from the brown (that's what I called it in my sketchbook).
We drove my friends car because he needed it to be in CA to get his car registered but I am not gonna lie, it was really fun driving it.

I picked up my new camera this afternoon... I have honestly been as giddy as a kid on their way to Disneyland all evening. I shot a few images around the house to give it a test drive. These images were shot with a lensbaby, I like the effect it has while it smashes and distorts the depth of field... what do you think? Yeah, I think I like it a lot.

On a Boat /
Last Sunday while in California we were blessed with the amazing opportunity to take a boat trip to Catalina Island (we called it nature church).
The most beautiful things happened to us
We saw dolphins
And a humpback whale followed (Kristina thought it was called a hunchback whale... we haven't stopped laughing since)

Digital Pin Hole Camera /
The mirror had fallen out of place (Yikes) but that wont stop me from taking pictures. Without the mirror I can't see what the camera is viewing so it's mostly guesswork, like the pinhole camera but with a lens etc...

Blind Contours #3 /
Last night's dinner party called for portraits.
Blind contours: line drawing that is created without the use of constantly looking at the paper. Instead, one concentrates intensely on the item that he/she is drawing and tries to draw the many shifts of lines and tangents of lines seen.
