I love New York. by Jessica Peterson

I just got back from a weekend trip to New Yorkfor a shoot, I can't post the pictures just yet but I can post pictures of Abby.  In the short few hours were shooting we covered a salt grain size portion of the city and there were endless opportunities in that small space.  I feel so complete when I am doing what I love... Hooray for the sweet times.

I truly adore New York, I feel homesick for it right now.

I really like these images. Quiet and classy.

July 4th Claire and I flew to California.  We stayed at my brothers the first night and we were able to hang out with my niece and nephew.  Seriously, I don't know that anyone has ever made me feel so loved as my nieces and nephews, I woke up to them jumping on my bed chanting my name and Abby.

PS I have a new niece, she is now 6 days old.  I can't wait to meet her.

Katie and Emily by Jessica Peterson

A few weeks ago two of my wonderfully talented friends, Katie Bradeburg and Emily Brown played a beautiful show.  They are wonderful...

I like that Emily looks like an angel in this shot...

Cooking classes by Jessica Peterson

Ben was nice enough to come over to our place on Sunday evening and teach us gals how to cook.
It was so delicious, especially the strawberry shortcake, I am not lying when I say it was the best thing I have ever had...

*sorry not the best picture but it will do

*I love these people (hey claire, you are in my blog...)

I can't wait until today has passed by Jessica Peterson

I'm not sure why I am blogging about this right now...
I have had a very up and down day, but mostly down.  While driving home tonight I was excited to get home, hop into bed and wake up 6 hours later to a new day so I could start everything over but when I got here I came home to a surprise... Max got into the trash which was very full of old food and the bathroom trash which was very full of all sorts of fun bathroom stuff.  He somehow managed to cover every inch of floor with toilet paper, avocado peels, old cake mixes (we cleaned out the pantry of expired goods yesterday into the trash), soggy napkins... you name it, it was smashed into the rugs and sprinkled on the floor.  thank you dog, you know just what to do when I am having a bad day.

Does anyone want a dog?

Seriously.

this is me right now as I type.
