Hayley and JT /
This is going to be the longest post ever, there were too many moments that had to be shared
This was so much fun, I really am lucky to have been apart of it.
Ashlee and Brea thank you so much for helping out and being there to help record such an awesome wedding and reception.
Posting in words /
I feel like I need to do some internet venting... something I have shied away from for a while, mostly because I don't know everyone who reads this, or maybe because I know some of the few that do but oh well.
It is a Sunday night/Monday morning. I am sitting in Boy's basement using his laptop while he is playing some shoot-em-up game on the xbox (lame... if it's not Tetris I don't even bother with it).
I had a good Sunday, I slept past my church meetings I went to my childhood ward (church), I saw girls that are much younger than I am with there husbands and babies and for a moment felt insecure that I was there by myself when realized I am grateful to be at the stage I am in and how I am in it... that felt nice to be accepting of self (something I should do more often).
After church Max and I went to the park, I threw the orange frisbee (how do you spell frisbee? computer is giving me the red dotted line) and max retrieved it, this was repeated for about 20 minutes and went home, Max loves to frisbee, I love Max.
I cooked. I have found that I really enjoy cooking. For a long time I avoided cooking, not sure why but I did, but now I love to cook. I love chopping and the colors melt into eachother, the different smells of each ingredient, the time that is spent for something so fullfilling in the end and most of all I love to enjoy it with my friends... poor Claire has become my test- monkey on my frankenstien meals... thanks Claire.
Dinner tonight was yum, I made this awesome avocado and rice salad and chicken enchiladas. Boy and I laid on the couch with big tummies and talked to eachothers faces and maybe kissed them. I like the boy, I find him sweet and I like the way looks me in the eyes when we talk.
I really liked today.
It was had just the right amount of everything I needed.

MY CAMERA!!!
This beautiful little guy needs a new home.
I'm selling my Canon 5D in which is in great shape and is willing and able to take your photos.
I am asking 950.00 for the camera body along with two batteries, one charger and the canon neck strap.
This is a pretty good price, it's comparable to what you will find elsewhere.
Please let me know if you are interested.

Paper And Ink Have Special Relations /
I have been drawing quotes and thoughts in my book lately
I had to share this toe one below and a few others while I am at it.
Yesterday I was sitting with Oliver and my feet were up on the coffee table.
Oliver says to me, "Jessica, where did your toe go? What happened?"
He was referring to the gap between my big toes and the pointer toe (??).
Oliver drew this of me... I look so happy and I LOVE my big, long fingers and hands.
Practicing shark drawings
and some more
I drew this right before we shaved Jordan's beard for that time lapse a few days ago
I wrote this after my mom told me that max tried to find a "way out" of the yard under the porch to get to me after I left the house one afternoon, he got stuck and she had to fish him out...
Church drawings... Honestly I can listen better when I draw... I promise.
My 3 dogs.
Thanks for letting me share.
mmm...mmmm /
Tonight I met up with some friends in a bookstore and I couldn't peel myself away form the stationary section, oh how I love stationary, novelty art books and little notebooks that scream for me to write and draw all over them. I could have spent hours there pining over every design and debating if I really wanted this or that and if it is worth burning another hole in my already empty pockets for. But my heart fell on this Sukie Animals on Parade stationary set which consists of over-sized vintage style envelopes and animal shaped cards. I had to purchase it, after all I believe in loving and serving others and this will aid in that process of letting them know that...?... Right? Well, this is what I am telling myself to justify buying something I don't really need at the moment.
Anyway, these are them.

Lazy summer afternoon.
Oliver watching tv while sitting inside the laundry basket.
I just told my brother that he was lucky I am around so much so I could document his kids... he says to me, "whatever, I could do that myself, all I need to do is point and click then brighten them in photoshop."
I am now boycotting taking photos of the kids until he can prove to me he can take photos as good as mine or apologizes to me for making such a lame comment...
Therefore these are the last of the Oliver/Abby images we will be seeing for a while.
Road Trip at the Speed of Shark /
(lame post title I know...)
This past weekend I took a little road trip with some friends who play in a band called Shark Speed. We stopped in Vegas Friday night where they played at First Friday along with Neon Trees from Provo as well. I really enjoyed the crowd which consisted of mostly girls who purposefully forgot their pants for the sake of todays fashion. After this night I my loathing for vegas turned into a slight like.

Saturday morning we continued on to LA.
In a van with no AC, good people and great music.
I'm happy.
Saturday evening they played at the Mint in West LA. It was a really great show... Yay boys.
P.S. you blew Chris Angel outta the water, although I think you should take a fashion clue from him, gems on jeans are pretty hot these days.
Everyone drove back to UT today, I am sticking around LA for a few days. Holla!
